Passenger weight minimum

What is the minimum weight of a passenger for a 2007 Corvette?

Well I had my granddaughter in my 2008 at probably under 25 pounds.

Too may variables to consider. Barometric pressure, wind direction, auto or stick. Need more info

Why do you ask? Are you thinking seat belt or air bags issues? On the other end of the scale, I've had a 320 lb passenger and a couple of dogs in the back and I couldn't feel a difference in performance.

Are you asking what the minimum weight is in order to have the seat sensor detect the passenger to trigger the air bag in case of an accident?

Otherwise, the minimum is 0.

I would assume this is why the OP was asking, and I wonder the same thing. Had my youngest son in the car last night (almost 9 years old) and he weighs about 65b and the "passenger airbag off" light was illuminated.

My late wife weighed around 110 lbs and the air bag in our 2013 Nissan Altima never knew she was there. Actually the question is important since those air bags can kill a child or small adult.

If your child isn't old enough to properly wear a seat belt or is in a booster or infant seat, then disable the air bag. Giving your kid a thrill isn't worth their life.
