i found out the sqeal increases dramatically when I turn the a/c on....points to HB...or bearings in ac pulley. Bad too.
Replaced the tensioner/pulley and the idler pulley and it got a little quieter. Now when I turn the ac on it gets quiet. Maybe the a/c pulley? Thinking with no load the bearings in the pulley scream but under a load they don’t squeal as much? Could not see how to r/r but looks like similar to other tensioner but not as assessable. Almost looks like might be easier from under side? Anyone replaced one? Any tips?
The compressor clutch assembly is under $100, and you can change it out without have to pull the compressor off the motor/draining the Freon in the lines.

Got the new ac tensioner and clutch. R/R’d the tensioner but lacked the tools to remove the clutch so I put the serpentine belt back on and the squeak disappeared! I have tools on order needed to r/r the clutch. Very tight quarters. $45 in new tools beats hiring a machanic! Plus the satisfaction of DYI.

Good luck with the repair. It sounds like you are on the right track.
Yeah, I think so. I replaced the serpentine tensioner/pulley and the other pulley and now the a/c tensioner/pulley. Didn’t stop the squeak but since the car is 2009 i don’t feel it was wasted money. And I learned a little. Have scanner wrench, slip ring pliers, M6x1 tap and short torx bit and the one I have is tool long and it’s a tight squeeze. I’m a little concerned about being able to get the slip rings off. Might need a mirror and extra set of hands.

Tools are forever, the mechanic is a one time deal. But no amount of money can replace the DIY satisfaction.
I hope the tensioner and pulley will fix it, however:
You stated a "squeaky tensioner" Do you actually hear the tensioner or pulley squeak or is it a belt chirp?
Look at the edge of the belt for fraying. Check the HB for wobble, a HB with a wobble can cause the edge of the belt to fray and cause a squeaky belt, especially when cold.
My car chirped quite a bit the last two times I started it. Chirp goes away when the car warms up. Thanks for the tips on where to start.
So basically there’s 2 tensioner?two belt tensioner and one accessory tensioner?..the two belt tensioner are the same part or 2 different ones?
Three different units,
Top main belt tensioner assembly= top left
Bottom AC belt tensioner assembly=bottom left and you can just see a piece of that pulley
Main belt idler pulley= between the HB and the power steering pulley middle bottom right, were the belt come up and over the top of it, then back under the power steering pulley after it.
