If you have to ask why then that helps explain the lolly pop of your post. But just to pacify the infants....what do you think.....the cops are gonna go into Corvette forum and read post and when they find one where someone discuss's the fact that they were doing 80 in a 50 that they are gonna track them down and then go to their door and arrest them? Now you want to talk about .....
someday maybe you'll grow up and learn how to play with the big boys.

Wrong. A witness, especially with a camera, can complain about reckless driving, street racing, etc and have the police ticket the offender. Probably won't work for 5 over or not using a turn signal, but doing donuts in a street, swerving at pedestrians, racing, absolutely.

Relax tough guy. I think reasonable people would read your first post as an answer for all moving violations, not just the OP's specific question. If I'm wrong then I certainly apologize.

"In honor of jpee"
I think it would take a lot to get an actual ticket like the guys in Michigan. But, I do recall that back in the early 2000s, a car mfr. came out with a pretty hot car and the mfr. sent personnel to the local tracks in one area to take pics of plates racing. Racing, even legal ones was a no-no for warranty.
When the owners came in for service they were told their powertrain warranty was on notice to claims. Had pic proof in files. In today's atmosphere of everyone and everything CAN be photographed, it wouldn't take much to catch a 120 mph run somewhere. Actually, anywhere.
As Yakov used to say, is this a great country, or what?

Is "racing in Mexico" just a euphemism or code for illegal street racing? I used to think that it was actually people describing their road racing experiences south of the border....but it is used so often and by so many people so far geographically removed from Mexico that I'm not so sure. Forgive me if it is obvious to everyone else and I'm just naive.

I guess this answers my question...
Filmed in Mexico
Used widely by people drag racing or doing illegal street races online. It would say filmed in mexico in the description or even in the title when it is pretty obvious it was filmed somewhere around the United States.
2015 Mustang GT vs 2013 Mustang 5.0
Filmed in Mexico

I just joined a Facebook group called "Mexican Racing League". Great vids.

LOL....you bring up a good point Nice. But let us not forget that if one cuts that tree down illegally and then goes into the "I Love Trees" forum and talks about it that the conservation people may be on them.......
