Default what are the biggest tires that can go with RPI wide body kit with z06 brake upgrade

Well the thread says it all. thinking of swapping out the stock quarters on my 05 magnetic red coupe and trying to figure out the biggest tire with out uosetting alignment and rubbing the quarters, Can i get away with the 12's and upgrade my rear Cray spider rims accordingly. realizing the upgrade is more than just the panels eh!

12" is stock Z06/GS size so yes it will fit. For rims you can go up to 13" wide with proper offset and tires up to 345mm wide.

i'm running Pirelli 355/30/19 on the back of my z06 mounted on factory spider wheels. They don't rub daily driving, tracking, or autocrossing. Not even really close. I'm running 1 degree negative camber and 1/8 inch total toe in. Ride height is set pretty close to factory.

That's great. hopefully I'll find a buyer for the f1 295 i'm running now and that'll offset costs a bit. This will be my winter project.

Are you having any problems with the traction control or active handling systems? And if not what size tires are you running in front? I have a 2013 Grand Sport that I would like to run the 355/30/19's on my stock 12 inch wheels but am concerned that the 355 being .8 inches taller the stock size my cause problems with these systems,I know this is an old thread but I hope you will still reply. Thanks

My fronts are 285/35R-18 Pirelli P Zero SL. No, I do not have issues with traction control or active handling. It's my second z06 with this setup. Probably about 15k miles between the two of them. Has not been an issue. Several long trips from my place in Charleston SC to Daytona and to Atlanta. Daily driven and done a few track days. Not a concern. This is the 2008. My current is a 2009. Don't have any pictures of it handy, but it looks pretty much identical anyway.

Thanks for the reply. Your tire combo is 27.4" rear and 26" front. I am going to try the Kumho Ecsta v720 ACR which is 27.5" in the rear and Bridgestone Potenza 71r's in a 275/35/18 in the front. the fronts are 25.6". These will be on extra wheels for auto crossing. You have a differences of 1.4 " But mine will be 1.9". I will mount the rears and try them with my street tires on the front first to see if I need to go to a taller tire in front. I will report back

What size front's are you running. My 355/30/19's are not mounted yet so I have not been able to test with the stock size 275/35/18's on the front.

It took forever to get the 355/30/19 mounted ,but I finally test drove it today with no problems. Ran it up to about 100 mph and then braked hard, no lights or other problems. Now I will mount the Potenza 71R's in a 275/35/18 on the front and test again.
