Short trips are killer on batteries. And the C6 has numerous parasitic drains. Mine lives on a battery tender whenever its not driven, even if just overnight.
I have a 2011 and I'm still on the OEM AC Delco. I know....borrowed time, and I plan to replace it this Spring. I will be installing another AC. Yep, 7 years!
I have never used anything but Delco batteries in any of my vettes and never have used a tender on any of them. My 2007 is now well over 11 years old with 15k miles on it and sits for extended periods occasionally and it never has failed to start.
I recently replaced the battery in that car for the second time and I buy the Delco batteries from my local Chevy dealer and normally runs around the $80 to $90 range. The first two lasted more than 5 years each.
Old fashioned perhaps but I stay with OEM GM parts. The cost difference is usually not that great, they are designed for your car and Chevy will stand behind the parts. Works for me.

Same here. I keep a tender on it if sitting for more than a week. I expect to buy another one in the spring and it will probably be an Advance Auto battery. I've always had very good service from them as well as Interstate.
