You did so well. And it is yours. And it is home now, with you, where it belongs. Congratulations.

BEEEEEE-U-TIFUL CAR!

Why were you looking for a ZL1, but settled on a Corvette? No comparison, Camaro to Vette. Unless you mistakenly typed ZL1, instead of ZR1.

A guy came in to play golf today in his '15 ZL1. I asked him what the HP was: He shrugged and said, "I don't know". Asked if it was an LS2 or LS3 (now I was just messin' with him). He laughed...."I don't know". Told him his car had a great sound...he said, "Yeah, I have the automatic cut-outs".

for crying out loud, I was afraid to ask him if it was a stick or auto...

You know, I really don't like the all-red interior, especially on a red car, but the red/black is beautiful, on either red, black, or grey, imo.

Iwas looking at 12-13 ZL1s and actually had one purchased but the dealer sold it even though I had a deposit on it. I had s few vettes in the past and loved them and always liked the widebody look. The GS was a little more than I wanted to spend, at least the ones I could find that were well optioned. I just happened to wander into the FS section from OT section and this was close and talked him into a great price.

I plan on building the car and that’s the main reason I was looking at ZL1s. They already have a supercharger so a little motor work goes along way. The GS will need more money thrown out it but hopefully by next year it’ll have 800 rwhp. It goes into the builderfir headers, cam, and other things next month.

Loved that color combo. Here’s a pic on mine before I sold it.....mine also came with comp grey GS wheels but I swamped them out with chrome spyder wheels.
