Finally brought my car home.
Well the weather finally seemed to break and so I decided to go pick up my new to me GS. It was up in Madison Wisconsin, about 300 miles away. Such an amazing car and way better interior than my 05 had. I bought it off the forum on a whim, I was looking for ZL1 but now I’m not looking back. It’s a 2011 M6 with 33k miles, 3lt trim package with navigation, magnetic ride, and dual mode exhaust. I’ve always loved orange on my cars and bikes but crystal red metallic looks amazing and it matches my currently Harley. On the way home I think I hit about every weather situation you can manage. It was nice and sunny when we left but I drive through rain, snow, and sleet, but it’s tucked away in the garage. It’s filthy and in need of good detail.

Sweet ride. I had the same kind of weather on my drive home from the dealer, and that was only ~100 miles.

Fresh detail.
The paint was super rough and felt like sandpaper so I took a clay bar to it and then buffed it with my porter cable and now it really shines
