2010 was the last year for the C6 Z51 option. It was not offered in 2011, 2012, or 2013. The option came back in 2014 with the new C7.

Here's the link to RPO codes You can look up your wheels and see the base car and Z51 Option can have the same wheels. Look at the "Qs" on the list.

No, I don't like it. Z51 is not a model. Why try to make it look like it is?

That’s too bad for you.

Some of us dare to be different

Why do people go widebody on cars that weren’t? Why do people add what I consider to be ricer type aero parts to their cars?

Their cars, their choices. I don’t have to like them and you don’t have to like them.

If all you want is cookie cutters you can make lots of new friends in the C2 section of the forum.

I have lots of friends there even though my car was not a cookie cutter. Yes, that’s a 63 with a power bulge hood, side mounted exhaust, after market wheels and a non stock color. Still a great car.

Drive your car and enjoy it. That’s why we have them.

I think we are interchanging the word OPTION and MODEL. Z51 WAS an option available for all base C6s as far as I know.
Z51 was not an option if you chose the F55 option and vice versa. Nor was it an option on specialty cars that included the F55 option as OEM.

Correct, cannot have F55 and Z51 together.
