Remove Boot from Shifter
2010 C6 Grand Sport Automatic... How in the heck do you remove the boot from the shifter? I thought after 2008 it was turn a bit counter clockwise and pull down to reveal a torque head screw?

Shifter **** is turned clockwise to release it's ring from the slot so you can pull the entire **** up and off.
Older style with lower ring and slot in the front of the shifter.

Just the manual trans shifter ***** have the side bolt that retains them to the shaft.
