interesting, i never knew that was done for GM
ill have to text the guy
they are on craigslist for a deal, but i have a feeling they are for c6 base not gs/z06
i was just trying to get feedback on them because im taking off my LG GT4 for something else a little quieter
was thinking these would work

Thank you very much
I'm assuming that a touring muffler would be quieter and not drone comapred to my lg gt4
Ill have to ask the diameter of the over axle pipes and try to snag them
Should have a LG GT4 system for sale soon LOL
Fingers crossed

I have the same Borla Touring (Type 1) on my 2011 GS. I purchased this directly from Borla at a big discount when the type 1 was replaced by the newer type 2.
The only difference I can see is that mine has the oval tailpipes.
The only reason I replaced my NPP exhaust with the Borla Touring is that after installing a set of headers, the NPP exhaust became obnoxiously loud at wide open throttle when the NPP valves would fully open.

So your saying that the type 1s are a significant improvement over npp as well.
That means if I score these, my drone should be cut down by like 85%
Thank you for the input!!

The Borla Touring Type 1 have no drone at all, at any speed.

Just hope the new mufflers fit ...
I don't know the C6 model year the change took place ... but, one of the inlet pipes on these axle-back muffler systems are bent slightly different from the early years C6 vs the later years C6.

EDIT: Ok, I did some checking
2005 - 2008 . . . All the same, and use the same P/N
2009 - 2013 . . . All the same, and use a different P/N from the 2005 - 2008
Also ... The Base and GS have 2 1/2" inlet pipes ... The Z06 has a 3" inlet pipes
.

The Borla Atak is much louder
This is the older style Borla Atak Type 1 ... Note how much smaller muffler cans are used in comparison to the older style Borla Touring Type 1
