What was the verdict on the EXT? Did it work running longways like normal? I have a C6 and I'm looking at getting an SUV, and it would be nice to get the EXT in case I need it for whatever SUV I end up getting.
My buddy Chris sells them, and was selling them at Vettes at Carlisle. If you want his contact info, let me know and I'll get it to you. He'll be able to answer all your questions.
No need for a private message. Chris gave me permission to tell anyone who is interested or has questions, to just give him a call at 304-629-4768. He is also still selling the Quik Jack at Carlisle show prices until the end of the month. It's a significant savings so if you've been thinking about it, now's the time to get it.
So does anyone know if the EXT quick jack will work on the C6? I have exactly the same situation as the OP. The minimum spread of the quick jack is the spread of the C6 corvette.

Scroll up two posts to my last post. Chris sells them, and he can answer your questions. Give him a call 304-629-4768

I saw your post and if I live in USA I would have done that. But I live in Australia and it works out cheaper to buy here than pay for huge shipping costs. And so far it looks like nobody has a EXT version that they use on a corvette.

I used the 7000 model on my 2009 Lexus LS 460, and my 2012 GS without any problems. Very

You don't have to buy from him. He's a good guy. He'll gladly answer any questions you have, and not expect you to buy anything. Tell Chris that Rich told you to call.
I am currently using my friend’s BL-5000SLX for my C6 Z06. If you need that model for your longer vehicle, you can buy the SLX Frame Extensions. They increase the spread by 6”. Here is the link: https://www.quickjack.com/slx-frame-extensions/
This extension gives you the longer spread you would need.

I am going to buy a Quick Jack and was wondering if anyone has the extended version, the BL-5000EXT? I know some have the SLX and I know that fits but I need the longer version to fit my Lexus but the minimum jack point spread on the EXT is 37.4" and that seems to land the lift points in the middle of my pucks.
Does anyone have an EXT model and how does it fit their Vette? Do C7's have the same distance between jack points? I may upgrade to a C7Z soon and want to make sure the EXT version would fit that too.
Thanks!
I already know the SLX version works.
I need to how/if the EXT version fits the Vette.
I talked with Chris (my buddy who sells them) and this is what he said "All you need is the SLX ,,,, 70" long. The EXT is 76" long, and more for a truck." So there ya go.

We understand that but the reason to get the EXT is so you can use it on all your cars. No point buying a SLX just for the Corvette and then buying the EXT or the EXT optional tray to service larger cars. If all you need is the EXT to do all the cars.
I can only buy the EXT version here at the moment as it is on sale. So all that has been asked is will the EXT work on our Corvettes? Looks to me it does not as nobody has posted to say they have an EXT and it works fine.

FWIW I have an older model that is 72" long and it works fine. I don't see why one that is 76" long would be a problem, the wells where you place the rubber jacking blocks are large allowing you to place the jacking blocks forward, aft, and side to side.

I am just wondering if the blocks in the tray will be pushed right up against the edge of the tray. So wondering how much of the block will come into contact with the jacking puck. Will it only grab the edge of the pucks, that is my concern.

I don't use the pucks, just the supplied jacking blocks. I'll take a photo of mine next to the Corvette tomorrow and upload so you can get an idea of how big the wells are for the jacking blocks.
I took some photos in hopes it will be helpful to others. The first photo shows the QuickJack 5000XL next to the Corvette with the rubber blocks outside the wells.
Tape measure for reference Rubber Blocks in approximate position QuickJack 5000XL slid into place Rear Frame. Using my fingers I fine tune the position of the rubber black. Front Frame. Using my fingers I fine tune the position of the rubber black.

Thanks for those pictures. Now do those rubber blocks need to be under the holes in the frame? As in your last picture it would seem the rubber block needs to be moved to the right by about 4"?
