I am going to buy a Quick Jack and was wondering if anyone has the extended version, the BL-5000EXT? I know some have the SLX and I know that fits but I need the longer version to fit my Lexus but the minimum jack point spread on the EXT is 37.4" and that seems to land the lift points in the middle of my pucks.
Does anyone have an EXT model and how does it fit their Vette? Do C7's have the same distance between jack points? I may upgrade to a C7Z soon and want to make sure the EXT version would fit that too.
Thanks!
I already know the SLX version works.
I need to how/if the EXT version fits the Vette.

Reason: Pointing out again that I need replies for the EXT not the SLX
I have the 5000XL and it fits perfect on the C6, I also used it on my Cadillac Deville and Chevy HHR.
Thanks but I don't know the specs of the 5000XL. I will have to see if the specs are out there somewhere. I need to find out the minimum lift point spread on the unit you have. Right now they have the BL-5000EXT and the BL-5000SLX. The EXT version has a minimum lift spread of 37.4" and that is looking like that puts the lift points right in the middle of the pucks and I don't know how safe that is.
I can't find any info on the BL-7000. I can only find info for the BL-7000SLX and BL-7000EXT. I know the SLX fits but not sure how the EXT fits. I think yours is the standard length and that will work but I am not sure about the EXT (longer version).

Reason: looked up BL-7000

Yep just looked it up and it is definitely smaller than the BL-5000EXT. Your minimum spread is 31.9" That definitely fits the Vette but won't fit my Lexus. Thank you though.

How long, or short, is your Lexus? The 5000XL has a length range of 31.5" to a max of 60" for the lifting blocks.
I know the SLX works but I need to know if the EXT will work.
The only way for you to know if it will work is to measure your wheel base on the car your referring to. The only thing the ext has that the slx doesn't
is the 6" longer rails for longer wheel base . The jacking blocks you can move around on the jack.

Not true. The EXT has a 6" longer maximum jack point spread, which I need for my Lexus, BUT it ALSO has an almost 8"(7.9" to be exact) longer minimum jack point spread. When reading my thread I mention that longer minimum spread and I also mention that when I measure that distance it puts me right in the middle of my lifting pucks which concerns me which is why I am asking if anyone has the EXT to see how it fits.

NO Problem sorry I worded my post wrong on the 6" . Sounds to me you know enough about them . You just need help to make a decision on your purchase.

No problem. I am hoping the EXT will fit my Vette as that is the main vehicle I am purchasing it for but the SLX is too short for my Lexus. I am hoping to buy one that will fit all of my vehicles but the minimum spread on the EXT has me worried because that puts the edge of the lifting points right about in the middle of my pucks and I am not sure how stable that would be or if the pucks (I used hockey pucks) will hold up to all that weight on only half or less than half of the pucks.
Thanks

Have you considered contacting Quickjack directly. When I bought my unit I had some issues with one of the frames and they were pretty responsive through email. Calling their customer service directly would be your best option. Heck they've probably already heard this question (or one similar) and may even have an adapter that will work in your case, if it's even needed.

The Lexus lifting points are surprisingly pretty far apart. The 66" on the EXT will be just long enough. I know it is hard to believe the lift points are that far apart. I had to measured it a few times because I was in disbelief and like holy crap! My wife has a VW CC and her lift points were under the 60" and her car is just about the same length. Lexus has their designated lift points as far apart as they could put them, right before the tires.
I am going to have to look again at my Vette and figure out if I can somehow make it work by not using my pucks (or taking the eyelets out and shifting them a couple inches if there is room) and using their blocks but make sure the blocks aren't too big and will hit part of my rocker panel. My wife isn't too helpful with stuff like this. She doesn't like to take the time to measure and hold this in place for me.
After thinking more about it I should be able to make something work some how.

I did call costumer service after 2 unsuccessful e-mail correspondences with an agent. She wasn't any help either about fitment (which I understand, the sizes are there and that is for me to determine but would be nice to know if there are any Corvette guys with the EXT) nor was she any help about delivery price.
I e-mailed them and the guy who responded didn't answer either of my two questions. I asked the same guy twice about shipping cost because it states on their website that there will be an extra charge if you are not there to unload the delivery and I know I won't be there to unload it. He still never gave me a price on the second e-mail which only asked about the price to unload. That just really turned me off. His first e-mail just gave me the dimension guide for the different lifts, which is already on their site (and I noted that I already looked at that guide), and stated he looked forward to helping me with my order. He said nothing about what the extra cost would be to unload the package. The my second e-mail purely asked for the extra price to unload it for me. He never gave me a price. He just said he they could try to set up delivery for a Saturday I think I might be home and that he doesn't think they deliver on Sundays. That still didn't help me. I just wanted a price for unloading at my house.
I ended up calling FedEx and was transferred several times and found out what freight package facility it would be delivered too and that I could just drive 30 minutes there and pick it up with my truck after I get home from work.
Now that is why I am on the Forum seeing if anyone has the EXT version to see if/how it works with their Vette.
I will maybe call them again when I get the chance and see if I can talk to someone who is more helpful like the person you talked to. I had done some brain storming trying to figure out if/how I can make it work and I think I should be able to come up with a way.
Thank you for you input.

I see your car in your profile pick. I like the C7 Z06 wheels on your car! I was thinking of getting set for my car. How does it look in person on the car?
I have seen where some people have put good looking newer generation wheels on their previous generation car and it didn't look right. Your car seems to look good with them. Are they what you had hoped for?

I am sorry to hear about your less than helpful answers with Quickjack CS. My experience was 180 degrees from yours. My Jacks were delivered without any incident, to my door and yes they are (2) HEAVY packages. I also ordered the Motorcycle Lift Table and that too came with the Jacks and there was no extra charge for shipping.
As far as my wheels, I bought the car in July of last year and honestly, didn't know they were off a C-7 Z until one of my club members enlightened me. I just knew I liked them and yes, I get compliments on them all the time and being an old school guy, I still love the chrome. On my car and my Harley!

Good luck with your lift!
I just talked to someone more helpful a little bit ago. They didn't know of anyone with the EXT for the Vette but she did say i can run them sideways if I want. I think it will be to obstructive sideways for most projects. I will make it work somehow. She did tell me they can drop it off without me being home. That helps
I love the C7 wheels. Nothing wrong with chrome. I know some people get worked up over the chrome/black thing but I like both. For me it all depends on the color of the car and you know what, forget the people who don't like it. I had polished rims on my yellow C5 and loved them. My GS has the matching Cyber Gray wheels. At first I didn't like them now I do. My wife and I wanted the chrome C6 ZR1 wheels for my car but didn't get them. All the dust would have been a hassle. I have since changed pads and dusting is much better. I think the chromes on your car look great!
