Before this week I had never bought a used car from a dealership. I found my car 11 miles away (after 3 fruitless out of state trips). Got a great car at a price I couldn't believe. Clean carfax too.
I agree with JerriVette for the FL car! Just keep in mind that FL dealers, new and used add an administrative cost(not regulated) over and above dealers prep, temporary registration and sales tax! I had one salesman even admit to me that it was pure dealer profit! Ask them how much they charge, or better yet what's the price out the door.
I would prefer buying a car that didn't spend any of it's life in the rust belt states! It doesn't take very long for the chemicals and salt to get into every nook and cranny!
I personally would go for the lower mileage private party car especially if it’s one owner with records. With winter over you can fly in and drive the car home, see sites along the way. It’s a great mini vacation.

Go with the car you like the best.
Buying by price usually winds up with some regret.
That said, paying extra for a lower mileage car does not make sense
if you are going to really drive it. At some point in the future, the mileage difference won't be worth the extra you paid for it.
My money would go to the Florida car IMHO.
I'd fly to Florida. Have a nice vacation. Then drive it home. Cars from Missouri get a rough life. Bad weather and worse roads. I drove up to Springfield for the weekend just last week. Roads are a mess. I bought my 2006 in 2016. 50K on it. Now has 101K. Only minor problems. Regular stuff like battery, tires, shocks. Plus upgrades. I drive it every day. Unless roads are icy or snow covered. It is a Chevy, not a Buggatti.
39k is just a break in period.
I can vouch for the rough road aspect of MO. Not sure just how much rough roads would really relate to the value of a car. But lets face it, regardless of what you may read in this forum, Corvettes and rough roads don't get along very well.....good luck in your search.....
Most Florida cars maintain their undercarriages very nicely. If the owner hasn't mal-jacked it, bent the frame rails or pinch welds, no malicious raising. Then the underside will be pristine. Just pressure wash it and it will be brand new. If thats even needed.
Thats the best thing about Florida cars, the car itself (underside of the car) stays healthy looking. Rust is rare.
Sun damage is something I prefer over the rust under a car. I prefer faded paint to bent frame rails, ruined pinch welds, that sort of thing. But that has nothing to do with Florida cars, anyone can mess up a frame rail. So I would ask for pics of that separately from each car. If you can prove the underside of the lower mileage car is cleaner and if you care about mileage for some reason then it might be a candidate. Inspection, inspection.
