Default ** How should I take care of Corvette ?**

I have c6 standard 2009 Corvette
The battery guage is showing 13 is it ok or it should be 14 or 15?
When should I change the transmission oil?

The only service I do is changing oil and oil filter every 10,000km.
so please advice how should I take care of my car what things I need to check, change or inspect weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly?

The owners manual lists everything. It’s just a car. Nothing special.

It's not just a car it is a fancy car which cost a fortune if there are problems in the car so it is wise to take precautions than spending fortune on cure.

These cars have Gremlins, I suggest that you drive it like you stole it and enjoy.

As stated above, check your Owners Manual for ALL maintenance requirements. And drive the car. Corvettes are like aircraft. The longer they sit, the more they break. All the electronics in the car need to be energized often.

We don't know if you bought the car new or bought it yesterday.

If you bought it new follow the manual.

If you bought it yesterday... Whenever I buy something used I try to change ALL the fluids so I have a base point of where I'm at.

Good Luck!!

Unless you bought a low-volume rarity of some sort, it's just a car so treat it like you would any other car. Since their resale value is pretty good it makes sense to be diligent and wash/wax it, keep the oil changed (and topped off), all other fluids correct and to perform regular service on it.

Otherwise, it's just a car. Treat it well and it should last a good long time. I had a 1995 Camaro Z28 which is NOT a *Corvette* and that lasted 19 years for me. Just took reasonable and regular care of it.

I live in Dubai where weather is very hot ..The reason why I asked what things I need to check regularly is because before I had range Rover and when problems started to come it never stops, I end up selling the car in 2 years and i spent too much money 💰.. so I thought to ask in forum if other People do perform a list of servicing Wich I don't

If you don’t know when the coolant was changed I’d do that. My car is a 2013 and I just had it done. I believe it’s 5 years or 100k miles, whichever comes first.

Totally agree, I do this for any second hand vehicle I buy. I bought my 08 in 2014 with only 12,000 miles on her, but still changed everything including trans oil & Filter.

You didn't say if you have an auto or manual trans. If auto, change fluid and filter every 30k miles (or the km equivalent). The owner's manual says you can go longer, but every transmission specialist I know says 30k. If manual, you can go longer on the trans fluid, but you must perform the Ranger method (do a search for this; many threads on how to do it here) of cleaning the clutch fluid regularly depending on how much you drive the car. Check your air filter and cabin air filter because you don't know how the previous owner cared for the car or if they've ever been changed. Keep the car clean with a good coat of UV protectant wax and sealant. The sun where you are is harsh on paint. Keep your wheels clean of brake dust as it will eat through the finish. For your battery, you should check at the battery terminals with a voltmeter to determine the actual voltage. Don't depend on the dash reading.

If you take good care of the car there is no reason it shouldn't last for several hundred thousand kilometers of smiles.

Any car can have gremlins. A car is just a little ticking time bomb that's just waiting to explode all over you check book!
