Is there anything in the passenger seat? Obvious, I know, but sometimes those are the things we overlook.
Thank you for the quick response! I went and checked - but there was nothing on the seat. However, just for the sake of it, i decided to move the seat forward and the lights did to come. This however is disconcerting i.e. mechanical movement of seat influences the airbag?
It could be a loose connection of the plugs under the seat. You may want to re-seat the plugs. I'd do that with the car off.
