If I recall you remove the battery and look down inside the battery tray. I remember one or two bolts you remove and you lift the battery tray out of the car.........
Cherokee it was NOT hard to remove the battery tray. It took only a small amount of time. I myself like previously posted did not want it making noise or getting stuck in some moving part or simply rusting away and fouling the car frame from dissimilar metal corrosion...
Dropped a loaner 1/4 ratchet in Houston when my battery developed an internal short and overheated. Bought a replacement at a nearby pawn shop for a dollar.
Drove back home and removed the battery tray, 4 bolts as I recall, and found the Craftsman ratchet.
Black hole under our batteries.....sucks all matter in and let's none out.
