Again, friends, he wasn't look for advice as to whether or not he SHOULD, nor was he asking whether or not it would be EFFECTIVE, he was simply asking if he COULD and why his conversation with an installer said they COULDNOT. Please stay on topic.

Any high end installler should be able to install an independent alarm system.
I’ve only seen 2 threads with people installing vipers on their cars by a professional installer.
