You got a great buy but I am wondering why the radiator support was broken. The funny noise in the rear end is most likely tire and normal rear end noise that C-6's are known for. It's usually axle nuts or you need a rear end fluid change or it could be the tires or end links. Congrats on the good buy!

Thanks guys. I’ve been agonizing over this car all weekend. I just have a hard time spending money. I’m not a tight wad or anything I’m just overly practical the older I get. The C4 I bought was kind of the same but it was a lot less money. Loved the car but it was in more need of things than I wanted to do or spend on it. I have a TIG welder I bought 8 months ago but haven’t used it yet. I have a 67 Mustang 390 project car that I work on here and there and bought the TIG to do some welding on that. I have a MIG also. Use it all the time. Guess it would be a good piece to practice on. Those little skid pieces or whatever they are called are all scraped up. Passenger side is still solid but the drivers side is broken in two places.

Radiator supports breaking isnt uncommon. The cars are low and a good hit can definitely break them.

Congrats on the new car. You legitimately stole that car.

Thanks. Only time will tell on that, could be some hidden issues. I went over it pretty thorough but it has had three owners before me. That always makes me wonder about a car. I just hope it’s a good car. One of the funnest cars I’ve ever driven. Ride is unbelievable for a sports car, power is awesome. I sure like it I can tell you that for sure. I’d buy a new one if I could afford it and take that level of anxiety. Never saw a Corvette I didn’t like. Yours in your avatar is gorgeous.

That offer would be an insult to the seller

That wasn't too hard to sniff out.

My guess was either you work there or you're their go-to wholesaler looking for a personal car.
