looking at a 2006 Corvette Coupe 6 spd manual, 3LT, both roofs, Z51, 45000 miles. Only thing I can find wrong with it is the radiator support is broken on the drivers side. It had a clicking noise coming from the rear axle/wheel area when the clutch was released but I washed and cleaned the car and now I can’t hear it. The floor mat wash mashed up behind the clutch pedal pretty good but I doubt that had anything to do with it. Here’s a pic of the car. What do you guys think a decent price would be?
They were asking $23K for the 2007 Base 3LT A6 in extremely good condition with 51,200 miles, that I bought. CarGuru indicated this was a fair price for the market nationwide.

I’m a little confused. You say you are looking and want to know what is a fair price. You also say you washed and cleaned it. Did you buy it and already own it’s?
I took it home over the weekend to look it over really, really carefully. A lot of these cars get abused so I didn’t want to buy something that was all beat up. They all, most anyway, have low miles around here because of the winters. That’s why I cleaned it. And washing it up I always see any little mark etc. being picky on this purchase. I usually am anyway. I just sold my C4 and this just popped up.
I agree with the others, a fair price is 23k. Trying to get it for 17k is an insult to a seller who already allowed you to take the car home for the weekend. IMO with that sort of going out on a limb from the seller, I would expect to pay full asking price.
If it was my car and you did that to me, I'd send you a bill for rental time. The seller could get 20k from selling that car to carmax.
Think I can buy it for 16800 as is with tax etc. still a good buy I guess? Hoping a bit less because of the radiator support.
If you're just some dude, then buy it now before someone else snatches it at that price. Screw around and you'll lose it. If you have some kind of in, then negotiate if you think they won't sell it from under you.
Just feeling out the price is all. I do have an in. I’ve worked there for 25+ years and there’s a bit more to the story. Few other small issues with the car. Title is clean and all of that good stuff. Just some small issues that need to be addressed. I bought the car today.
just shy of 17000.00 with tax etc. feel really good about it. Sounds like what’s been put up on here that I should feel good about it. Any other problem spots with these? Searched a lot and found out about the radiator support thing on here. Just wondering if there’s any other stand out issues I should watch for. My wife won’t let me drive it. She’s stole the keys.

I bought a 07 base with 61k for 16k, you did good for the miles and z51/3lt! Get the radiator support welded, you don't need to buy a new one. Also check the P/S hose for leaks. Congrats
