If there were, who would it be and how would this be implemented?
One place it was supposed to be put was the receptacle at the center bottom of the dash - forgot the name of that receptacle. Also don't remember the individuals that tried to sell one here, but there were several. Don't think any of them were current forum members in good standing.
My nomenclature left something to be desired. I wrote "chip" but meant "tune." I'm looking to get a little more performance, throttle response and hp out of my stock 2006 base coupe. It's been 23 years since I owned a vette, my kids are in college now and I want my mid life crisis car to kick butt!
Just didn't want you to get taken if you really meant "chip."
2006 Corvette Base 6.0 and I'd like to know what performance chip/computer my fellow devotee's are using to get a bit more horsepower and response out of their Vette's. I'm looking for some advice here, please assist!
Do your research on the Corvette Forum.
You will find plenty idiots (like on all other forums) but if you can sort thru the crap you'll find that we have the absolute best, proven,
most reliable remote tuning package available.
Our CoW BOOSTER! product can not be beat and if your vehicle is an automatic then I can guarantee you the best possible performance and
driveability. Don't let idiots talk you into a "magical dyno tune" or some expensive mods for a new owner like yourself.

Old Pcms used eprom chips that had to be burnt with an eprom burner/programmer , so it was a mater of having to replace the chip in the PCM with another burnt eprom chip in some case, or an burnt eprom chip added to the pcm in line to work around/by pass some of the installed chip if it was not removable.
With current ecms' like the C6, it uses a RISC processor (not Eprom), so you can use programs like HP tuner and EFI live, which allows you to re-flash the ECM's risc processors firmware ( mC/mP flashing) in place isntead.
Don’t be fooled by all the idiot forum members trying to steer you away from a good product..
Go see a real tuner like Chuck CoW. Do your research
spend your money on a proven product that is proven and reliable.
I have the Cow Booster on my 2008,which had been installed by the previous owner and it is faultless.Others that have driven the car comment on how much more responsive and quicker than theirs it is.I would recommend you look at this product.

Dude, The C6 Corvette is way past a "chip" technology to increase performance... you need a professional tune using software
I was just reading about them and it seems pretty good. There's no substitute for a referral though, I want to hear from others the success they had so I know I'm no going to "Billy Bob's Backyard" to have some ****** screw up my tune... Just sayin'. Thanks for all the guidance though, this is what I'm looking for!
