Performance Chip?
2006 Corvette Base 6.0 and I'd like to know what performance chip/computer my fellow devotee's are using to get a bit more horsepower and response out of their Vette's. I'm looking for some advice here, please assist!

Been asked before, and believe me, there's no chip for the C6s. If someone tries to tell you there is one and they want to sell you one, it's a scam.

Closest thing you can find to a performance chip would be a canned tune. Take a look at Diablo Sport inTune. I tried the Diablo inTune i2030. Here's a couple threads;

I recommend you look into mail order tunes by a few vendors on this forum and make your own decision on who to use. I've used 2 in the northeast and have had good results with both.

I have been using a Vitesse Throttle Controller for several years. It plugs in to the gas peddle wiring harness. It doesn't give you more horsepower, but it makes the throttle MUCH more responsive. There is also a CoW Booster that will help with horsepower. They cost about 200 bucks. You can't believe how unresponsive these cars are until you get a throttle controller. I would never want to go without one. You can get a tune, but it's much more money.

yeah ah that’s the problem. Found out to pasture lol.
To the OP. Go to a real tuner that uses HP tuners or equivalent. Have them get all the hoa the gam left on the table.
I took a stock c6 ls2 and gained 36hp with the tune. Only mods were CAI and ported TB. Also tweaked the trans for better shifting.
Best bang for the buck. .

My nomenclature left something to be desired. I wrote "chip" but meant "tune." I'm looking to get a little more performance, throttle response and hp out of my stock 2006 base coupe. It's been 23 years since I owned a vette, my kids are in college now and I want my mid life crisis car to kick butt!
