A tune from a good shop is $500 to $600 bucks nowadays.....You can add a cai and a VMax ported and polished TB for $150 with your core is well worth it for throttle response...That china made Vietnamese thing can be a problem.

I wouldnt waste your time, wait...put a cam, possibly a converter, some long tubes on it then retune for something youll actually feel.
Most wont spend $ on a "mod" then say it wasnt the night and day they hoped for.

Shesh, I passed out in the arms of my lovely wife.... you don't have to do the work for me! LOL.... Seriously, I appreciate it. I'm really wanting to get much more our of the car without throwing thousands upon thousands at it. This information is very helpful and I will certainly call these referrals and see when I can get an appointment. Sounds like the best performance (that's affordable) is going to come from a new intake, ported throttle body, new tune with throttle calibrations that remove all the factor delay. Do I have that right so far?

IF your looking for bang for the buck.
I’d do a potted TB. Full z06 exhaust and a CAI and then tune.
For about 1500.00 you can wake up your ls2
i did about the same thing and going close to 45-50 on my stock ls2?

Ported throttle body is a waste of time and money.... and worse depending on who does it.

For half of the $1500. suggestion here I can make any vehicle far better and virtually no parts needed to change.

If you have a quality intake and some sort of exhaust, then you're ahead of the game.

You'll get more out of my cow booster and tune package than ANY other mods you can think of costing double or even more.

If you want the best possible advice for your situation.... without listening to senseless banter from random people.....

Please feel free to call me at any time and I'll do my best to steer you in the right direction.

If I get only the booster, will I gain any horsepower and how much do you typically see with it?

I did leave a message on your voicemail at the shop, just waiting to hear back from you.

dude. I’m for sure not some random person. I’ve been in the game for a while now.
The OP asked for suggestions and that’s what he’s getting.
Not for some smart *** putting any and all other suggestions down saying that your the only game in town.
Cause your not. So please stop. Let the op make his own mind up with what he would like to do to his car.
I personally would rather walk into a shop and have conversation with an experienced tuner and have them work on my car than any mail order tune or throttle booster. And I’ve had a few of both.
Having a one on one with your tuner in person is invaluable.
Trying to get the best tune from someone thousands of miles away for me just doesn’t sound right.
I want my tuner to drive my car. And street tune my car. And make sure things are right.
Not dealing with crap very the phone or by mail. And hope and pray someone calls me back.
So. I’m sure I’ll get a warning from the mods for this post as everyone else that’s speeks up on these post does.

OP. Talk to some of your local corvette clubs and e a bunch in your area.
I know as I follow a lot of people in the Tampa area on instagram.
As florida will be my retirement spot in a few years. Fingers crossed.
Theres events going on almost every day. Ask around.
Dont get sucked in. Lolol.

No HP gain at all. But a definite seat of the pants HP gain.
Another reason you want a real tune not a booster or throttle controller.
A controller is great if want to just fix your throttle response.
A real tuner can get you better throttle response. More hp gain tq gain. And if you have an automatic they can tweak the trans for better shifting. And you get this as soon as you have your appointment with your tuner.
You don’t have to wait for the UPS guy and have to install anything.

But it for some people. That like this type of service.

Here’s a for instance.

On my LS2 stock with only a CAI and Vmax ported tb. I had a 38hp gain.
And my throttle was killer. Trans was insane. All for about 500.00.
