I live in the Raleigh/Durham area of NC and need to know where the closest dealer with the most C6's would be in my area/State. I'm ready to buy but can't decide which way I want to go......wide body, vert, base/ auto or manual. I'd really like to be able to see and test drive as large an assortment as possible in one shot. Is there maybe a car show or cars and coffee around my area I could go check out too?
just go to Autotrader, and filter it for C6 year models, and select dealership instead of private party. There's 24 vettes within a 75 mile radius. Good luck with your search.
Hey, no problem. Let me do a search and get back to you.
Waiting on your search results....
If you could print out maps and directions to each dealership, that would be helpful to the OP also. And/or if you can arrange transportation to and from each dealership that would also be great.
as a note: if you can afford it, you are most likely going to want a widebody. The Grand Sport is basically the sweet spot in price / performance / looks. Convertible or Coupe is going to be completely personal decision. Auto vs Manual is going to be based on your driving habits / needs. From there, it all comes down to color and availiblity. Find a color you like (cause trust me, you'll be looking at it a lot, in a good way) and just dive in.

You guys are waaaay funny....haha! If someone that lives in and has experience shopping in my area sees this post they will know what I'm asking for.....shopping (to me) sucks and I wanna know the source of the drug that's all....ya don't have to hold my hand. I wouldn't let you anyway!
Oh, and thanks to all who have tried to help already.
Want to keep this around $35k or under.....silver or jsb. Maybe I'll start a wanted thread.
I have a body shop so something with low miles but needs dings/paint fixed would be ideal for me(I could wide body a nice base)...those are probably very rare though, no?

LOL....This sounds like those TV commercials where the people ask their neighbors if they know a good roofer. Then the people proceed to ask the neighbor to set it all up for them.

Well....I do sorta need a new roof now that you mention it.....promised my GF I'd make that happen this summer.
Currently driving a 2006 convertible with Z51 handling package and 3LT interior package. Have owned all generations excepting C7. This car is great for daily driving as well as a fantastic road trip car. My position is that you can’t go wrong with any C6.
Hey, this one's a cherry...just go fourteen east on county 1, turn right on the one lane gravel road, park in the yard. beware of the dog, wipe your feet, and bring your billfold.

This does not sound genuine. To the OP, take caution as this does not sound like a dealership.
IIRC, jsb convertibles might not be plentiful, weren't a lot sold. Great color if you can find it. Far more silver, but the big three are still probably black, red and white. Go figure.
Just a thought, do a google on corvette clubs in your radius and ask the question of where there's a variety of C6s near or not so nearby. Might help. Might even find one someone's selling!
