Hey everyone, I love the look and feel of a multi-point harness but my car is a vert and hate how the common roll cage looks with them. Anybody know how to setup a harness without a roll cage or knows a roll cage for a vert that doesn't look bad/ hardly see. Any help would be appreciated!!!!
You shouldn't be running a 4/5/6-point harness in a convertible without roll over protection. VERY dangerous. You also shouldn't be using those types of harnesses on the street really either or without any type of neck restraints.

I've never seen a roll cage in a C6 vert. There are a couple of roll bars, but not NHRA legal, nor are they really any protection in a rollover. Verts don't lend themselves to racing very well. Assuming you intend to race, you need to be concerned with performance, not appearance.

Your right just loved how they look and feel strapping in

I dont intend to race was more of a cosmetic look and love the feel of a harness

Sounds like you just want to play "boy racer". If that's the case & you truly don't intend to track the car, then just bolt the harness to the floor behind the seats & be done with it. However, waste of time & effort IMHO. (no disrespect intended).

I will track my car soon but have to do a few other things first

There's nowhere in a vert to mount a harness bar that would have any measure of safety.

I recall someone posting a vert roll cage a few months ago, but can't recall who, or the name of the vendor. I remember taking a look at it, and it looked like a pretty decent solution, although rather pricey. You'll have to do some searching to find the thread.
That would pass tech on a road course, since they seem to be OK with just harness bars, but you'd need a blind tech at NHRA/IHRA.
Here's one that's not very intrusive and appears to meet some track's specs. I have a friend who has it and he mounted clear acrylic for a windscreen. Again, no drag racing.
