Default AC Control Module...problems with parts?

25938052 AC modular for C6 ....anyone have one?
Now for 5 months my Chevrolet dealership has been looking for 25938052 AC modular. They have been told countless time that GM is having vendor problems....for 5 months really? Anyone know anything about this issue or where I might get one...used or new? Any help for the Forum would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Dave

Pull the boards out of the controller to fix them, by just soldering the cold solder joints problems on the boards. Hell, the problem could just be a ribbon cable that came unplugged isntead.

If you where in the Denver area, could have the controller right as rain in less than 20 mins with it in hand.

To bottom line it, the assembies are produced in Mexico, and lets just that is not just the HVAC controller that is laced with some of the worst solder bath cold solder joints that I have seen on modules.

A member just recently posted that new ones aren't available from GM any more. He found a company that offers rebuilt units. See link.

Update, went to the web above suggested by one of the members AutoECU. Very easy to work with and short delivery. Ordered the part with warranty. The General manager of the dealership and regional GM stepped up and will install this with reimbursement for the part. Thanks to all for the help. Seems really funny that I had to find the part and their service folks couldnt find one they spent 5 months and the forum to find several within a day,....thanks to the support of the great people of the forum.

The issue with GM not supporting any interior parts for the C6 is going to be a big issue now and in the future and will leave a bad taste in your mouth with the lack of support by GM,,,seems they are dumping all the owners of C6’s. What happened to the 7 to 10 years of OEM parts?

The Part arrived today from ASI and appears to be brand new...looks perfect! Also after discussion wit( the GM at the Dealership has agree to install and reimburse me for the part. Here’s crossing your fingers all goes well next week.
All positive after 4months of round and round with the service department...the forum folks helped solve the issue within 1day...can’t say enough thank yous.

Alright I have mine apart right now and visually I don't see any broken joints (which I know isn't worth much). Is there a specific common failure joint I should look at or any point in the right direction? I see plenty of people just say "fix the solders" but no pictures of before or after of the boards themselves or any further information.

FYI, there was a member (Hmmmvette now banned, not the original thread starter Ahmer) that replied to me on this and he was clearly a scammer. Luckily I never sent any money. Another member (Brogounon) is in on the scam too and I'll try to get him banned as well. There is no available part.

Yes, I know how time works. They don't make this part anymore, so I'm trying all options.

Two options. I actually had a local chevy dealer that had a mechanic/tech guy who took mine out, re-soldered everything and put it all back together. Has worked perfectly ever since. The solder is what seems to be the problem. Or do a search or even look on ebay. There was a guy/company who sent you a refurbished controller and you send him your core. Basically all he did was re-solder them. I think the price was around $400, That was about 3 years ago. Update, the price has gone up. What else is new? https://autoecu.com/climate-control-...man-2005-2013/ Maybe a computer repair place could just re-solder it all. Good luck.

Thanks, but this isn't the part I'm looking for. I need what's called the HVAC Mode Valve, or "curtain." There are no electronics involved.

Can you, as a 14-year CF member, understand the confusion when you revive a many years old thread and make a random comment on the topic and then correct others by stating that the module discussed in the old thread is not even the part you want to discuss or need??

Yes I can, and I apologize. Somehow I ended up commenting on this thread which was different than the one I originally started on and thought I was commenting on. After reviewing the beginning of this thread I now understand the confusion. My bad.
