So the problem is you may have gone to a dealer that is not corvette certified to start with (or at least the tech working on the car not corvette certified), and you pretty much end up with the outcome you did.
I mean really doesn't the dealer or technician have the responsibility to tell you whether they have the ability to work on your vehicle? How is he supposed to know what their capabilities are. I fault the dealer and they should be reported to the BBB possibly saving some poor other consumer from having the same problem.

The BCM needs to be first firmware flashed using the Vin number with Tis2000/TDS, then you use tech2win to go into the BCM RPO menu to make sure that the devices on the car, are selected correctly in the BCM programming. A techII or clone, can run all three of these programs.

So firmware flashed to car first, then tech2win to go into the BCM set up menu to make sure the RPO options are selected/deselected to the items on the car.

C7s use GDS2, not tech2win (tech II) that is used on the c6 and older cars.

Vx GM nano runs a cracked version of GDS2 for free that should work for what you want to check.
If you are doing security items like programming in a new Fob, then would need to use SPS in TDS ($40 for 2 years) to do/change these functions.
VX GM Nano (which is a MDI clone) also runs all the Factory programs for every vets, including the new C8 corvettes (GDS2 and TDS on line).

You don't list your location, but if in the Denver area, more than welcome to bring the car over to the house to give it programming a once over.

Hello Guys i have 2007 Z06 Eu version i want to change few things on the bcm or pcm i don't know which one is the right one.

Also i found the clone system vcx nano gm with tech2win software and i want use this with the laptop.

So i want to deactivate the service column lock system because its sucks the steering wheel won't unlock sometimes.
I here the US models has not this future corrected me if im wrong please.
and that i always have to put the reverse gear in order to switch off the ignition, that pisses me off with the EU models.

Can i anyone help me (@Dano523) what i have to do ?

Walk in the park, but will need to use TDS to pull this off, since Tis2000 does not have the needed file in it.

So, will need to use a USA credit card to first pay to get the account (24 months for $45 option) , while using VPN so the IP address that you are connecting to Ac delco will show up as a USA one for both the initial account set up, then using it as well.

When you go to use the account the first time (SPS) with the nano up and runnning on the laptop, will get a pop up that will ask you to install three drivers (J2534 will be the last one in that list), install all three to the laptop so TDS SPS works correctly.

Once connected using TDS SPS via the nano and selecting replace and flash, go to BCM module, select the latest BCM software file in the list (will only be the one), and this will reflash the BCM to remove the SCLM from the system. Once reflashed, used Tech2win to go to BCM set up, hit ok at the warning, on the next menu, select the correct country of orgin and hit ok, then take a quick look through the next RPO list to make sure it has the needed items selected, and hit ok to final out of that.

On the usa cars, it was just the 2005 M6 cars that had the steering lock, while on the exports, it was the later cars since was part of the export regulations. Since GM no longer has the steering column lock parts to repair the systems, the 2005 usa, and later export years with steering lock, all have the updated Firmware file to flash the steering column locks out of them.

If you don't have a way to get a USA credit card to pay for the ac delco account, or not tech savy on setting up a vpn to have a USA IP address to use Tds, then check with your local GM dealers to do the flash, since should only be around 150 euro's. Hence the $45 for 24 months ac delco SPS account only applies to users in the states, and not a option for abroad owners.

Here is A/S delco tds SPS, but as stated, unless you have aUSA IP address when you go the link, it not going to even show you the $45 for 24 month option.
