I have my I on a nice black 2013 Corvette 427 3LT Convertible with 9700 miles. Couple questions, What is a fare price for it, and for all of you that are already owners, would you buy it again today?

There are plenty out there with similar miles on either side of $50k retail. I bet if you tried to trade one in at your local Chevy dealer he wouldn’t give you more than $42k for it. So what’s fair for you to buy for? Somewhere in between?

I just purchased a '13 427 CE with stripe & CFZ package with 10k miles. Paid $54,000. I'd do it again. It's a hobby car, not a DD. My '16 Z51 is used more often.

I love my 427, no regrets here. You said it was a 3LT which is actually a 1SB trim on the 427. If it is a 1SB without the CFZ package, I would say mid to high $40's. Of the 2552 427s made there were 429 black cars. It was the second most popular color so if this one doesn't check all the boxes another one shouldn't be too hard to find. I bought a 4yr/32,0000 GMPP Platinum, $0 deductible for around $1,100. Once that expires, I plan on having the heads reworked just for piece of mind. Other than that the LS7 in convertible trim can't be beat IMHO!!!

Thanks for all the info guys. Here is the add for the car. I am not yet familiar enough with the C6's to know what trim packages are what so, if it has the CFZ I am not sure? At this point I am looking to find the best bang for my buck under 50K.

I am also considering this 2010 ZO6. Thoughts? I look forward to you opinions.

September of ‘17 I paid $39.5 for my Black ‘07, w/13k miles, 2LZ w/several add ons including (Clear Bra everywhere, M2W) to name a few. after owning a ‘06 z51 for 11 yrs prior, I wouldn’t have any other car other than a C6 ZO6...

Z06 sounds high.

I would definitely ask about the heads. If they are still stock then I would definitely make sure you can get an extended warranty. I agree with 919cw313 though. Z06 is definitely high priced. If you don't know what we are talking about when we mention the heads then you should definitely research the issue before you buy to see if you can live with it.

Z06 is high, 427 doesn't seem like a bad deal. You just have to decide if you want a fixed roof or open top motoring

So I went and looked at the car today. The guy just bought it in March off Vettefinders, and now needs to pay for a wedding lol. Definitely hasn't had the heads dond but it seems to be running well right now. Its got some rock chips and the tires are going to need replacing before too long. He is firm at 48K. The words in his add were lifted from the add from vettefinders.

I think I am leaning toward letting this one go. I want a newer car I think that isn't a special addition that I won't feel bad about putting miles on. They are meant to be driven and that's what I want to do, at least when its not snowing.

Yeah I’d let that one go too. He can keep it at $48k.
