Default Power window Does Not Go Down All the Way

I have searched the Forum but did not find any information. My 2011 Convertible sat in the garage for nearly three weeks while I was on a vacation. I returned home yesterday and the car started up with no problem. I thought I would take it out for a ride and dropped the top but discovered the passenger side window will not go down all the way. I am hoping someone knows how to correct this, saving a trip to the dealership.

I've never heard of a passenger side drivers window. Have you tried reindexing?

So are you saying both windows or just the passenger or the driver side?

Just had the exact opposite problem today. Friend who was a GM Corvette Tech. told me to unhook the battery for 30 mins, and then give it a shoot. Worked like a charm; did have to re-index the windows, but the clock remained set. Hope this helps.

I tried reindexing the window twice with no solution. I will try unhooking the battery later today to see if that works.

Sorry for the earlier confusion. Typo. It is only the passenger side window that does not go all the way down.

Thank you...My problem was the passenger window would only work with it's own switch, but would not work with the drivers side control switch unit i took it apart and found the problem (Unrepairable) so had to get a new one which is an easy change out...Good luck with your problem...Note: Forgot the first problem with the passenger window was when it was still under warranty it would not go all the way down then it started to make a noise then quit.Took to the dealer and they replace the window regulator.

I had the same issue on the passenger side. It was the window regulator cable that was frayed and would bind up and would not allow the window to move.
I replaced the regulator and problem was solved.
I have a PDF of the change out of the regulator if anyone needs it.

I had the car to the dealership yesterday. Seems a wire was being chaffed by the up and down motion of the glass until it finally frayed. Wire was replaced and problem solved.

My buddy's Corvette seem having the same problem. We'll take a look at it right after we finished installing the rack, tonneau covers and led light bars on this current truck project. The passenger side been acting up and we suspect it is the regulator. I'll PM you when need that PDF. TIA
