That's a "good friend?" I'd be shopping for some new friends. He doesn't have a clue what a Costco is, threatens you with a lawyer, and thinks a C6 Corvette is a "rich man's car" as well. Seems kind of like a dumb *** to me.

So, this weekend I bought a new to me Canon 80D with a couple of lenses and thought I'd try out something different. Here is my good friend describing owning a Corvette. He really hit it out of the park here, and somehow truly captured what we are all like in the eyes of the public.

OP...thanks. I saw it was tongue-in-cheek as soon as I saw the dark sunglasses. And yes, you caught a few of the public perceptions “spot on” in my opinion. I especially liked his comment about them all looking the same. That is so true to the non-Corvette crowd. The part about Costco was funny too...just be wary of some of those BMWs though, they will flat walk most Corvettes. Have fun with your camera...I love my 7D MK II.

Good job! Pretty funny.Their will always be butt hurt people when you talk down a corvette.....even when you are kidding. That makes it funnier.

The video is very funny and OBVIOUSLY sarcastic. I think if we were looking for a far more accurate representation of the typical corvette owner, it would be this post. Aging and humorless pretty much sums it up to me.

Hey, I'm glad you got some enjoyment out of it. I showed the video to a few friends before posting it, and everyone sounded like they got a kick out of it. I can see how someone might miss the mark and take it seriously. What's really ironic is some of the response here would have fit the stereotype really well lol. It's just a joke people!!! LOL
Man, as far as the BMW's/Audi's go that he "called out" I'm 100% aware that many of them are no joke. I'd LOVE to own an E92 M3/M5 or a newer S5 Audi. They are awesome cars.
Not to mention my C6 got DRUG by a lifted, 4x4, Ford Ecoboost F150 this year at a race track haha. It was hilarious.

In a 2017 CD test, out of 12 fast cars, the ONLY car a C7 GS beat was a Lexus. Certainly, this list is pretty tall cotton in terms of exotic and expensive cars. If this list were expanded to include the next round of US/Asian/Euro "fast" cars, the C7 would end up pretty close to the same.
