Alright I know I will Be made fun of this! I’m hearing this is an option for an adjustable exhaust from the factory? Just bought an 06 vette and wondering how do I know if this option is on my car? Thanks lol
Search and read. Think adding factory NPP to 05-07 requires an 08-only set of mufflers. 09+ changed the over-axle bend and may not fit. Don't quote me.

But I believe they won't open/close the valves automatically based on acceleration as the factory installed ones do. You'd need to add a manual switch.
No Z06 has "NPP". "NPP" is an RPO code available on base and GS models. Yes, it is essentially the same item, but it is part of the Z06 package, and not an option. If you order a Z06, you cannot also designate NPP, although the car will come with the valves in the muffs.

Thanks. Good explanation for what's going on with the seeming contradiction.
