I have a c6 corvette.. the high beam headlights, the horn, the left turn signal, and the radio control switch on the steering wheel don’t work.. if I disconnect the battery then reconnect the battery , they will all work for a few... the horn, then the left turn signal, then the high beam headlights stop working in that sequence.. can anyone help me out with this?
I had a similar issue, but it was only effecting the high beams. they would come at random times.
I replaced the turn signal stalk assembly. that cured the problem.
with yours effecting the horn though, probably not the same as my condition.
if it is, or you do decided to change the turn signal assembly, it is an easy fix.
the only issue I had was in replacing the steering column cover, I could get it to line up correctly.
or I may have bent some of the alignment pins. it doesn't totally snap together now. only noticeable when seen from the passengers seat.
The clock spring under the steering wheel would effect the controls of the radio, horn, but I think that would be all. The stalk would be connected to the hardness on the steering column, that's were I would start with.
Also, the BCM controls many functions that you're having issues with so maybe check the big blue colored connectors there. If you don't know where the BCM is, it's under the carpet on the passenger side foot well. Grab the top of the carpet and this will reveal the BCM.
