My coverage is expired, but I wouldn't bring my Z to a dealership anyways. What do you think?

I had the TSB performed at one month shy of the 10 year mark. Mine stuck to the floor but not all the time. They changed out the reseviour and replaced it with a ZR-1 one thats black in color. I never get on it and was told theres no special paramiters for it

I had mine replaced under warranty, but continue to have the issue when I go to redline.

Happened to me at 63k, stock base C6. First thing i did when that happened was do the ranger method, but at that point it was too late. Took it to the dealer and did get the TSB, although at this point the clutch was shot as per dealer. Put in new a brand new flywheel, clutch, and slave cylinder. When i removed the slave a bunch of bearings fell (it was pretty much melted at the front). Turns out they do not work well with high heat or so i read. either way, i probably didnt need a new clutch and flywheel but did it since everything was coming out. Only thing i do regret is not putting in the remote bleeder.

500 miles of breaking in later.........she works like a charm at WOT!

Well that's disappointing.

Get a Tick master. It's slightly stiffer than stock but as long as the clutch is in good order (slave, pressure place, flywheel, hydraulics), then it will provide a redline shifts all day.
