It is getting to be that time of year to start thinking about storing the car for winter. Has anyone used Flatstoppers by Brute Industries when storing their corvette. They advertise that they will prevent flat spotting of the tires. I recently put a new set of Michelin Pilot sport 4s on my car and do want them to flat spot over the winter.
They are pricey, looking for real world feedback as to weather they really work. What size did you buy 14" wide or the 16" wide? I have a 2012 GS.

Several years ago bought a set of flatstoppers. Used them faithfully for four/five years. Then, for reasons I've forgotten, simply parked my Vette in the garage without the flatstoppers. The following spring as was getting the car out was wondering how square the tires would be. As I drove down the street was very surprised, was unable to detect even the slightest flat spots. After that my flatstoppers have remained in the attic, undisturbed.

Can’t help on the flatstoppers. I park my Vette for six months in WI. I don’t do anything other that Stabil in the gas. I have never had tires flatspot. I wonder if that is a concept held over from bias ply days. Have read here that some put 45 lbs. in for storage.
I've stored my C6 since 2009 from Nov-April each year. I pump the tires to 40 psi, check them occasionally and pump them back up to 40 psi as needed.
I've never had a flat stop in any of those years on 2 - 3 year old or new tires.
Stabil, bounce sheets in car, and engine compartment. No issues.
