Let me start by saying that I am not loaded and I had to save for my car. I have a friend that owns Mr. Detail in Newburgh, Indiana. You can look him up on the web and see a lot of before and after pictures to see what this coating does. I had a full paint correction done to my car that is Lemans Blue and it sat in Florida for about a year without moving. After the paint correction, he applied Kenzo Coating by IGL. WOW WOW WOW. I now wash my car very little, I just wipe it off. When I do wash it, I am done in less than ten minutes and I never lay a finger on the car. I spray soap on it and rinse. I blow dry it with a leaf blower because the water pretty much falls off of the car on its own. This product is so good, or maybe his work is, that a dealer around here has him do this to all of the vehicles that are 100K plus. At a recent car show, they wanted to park my 2006 Z06 in Lemans Blue next to a White Lamborghini that he had Kenzo coated. Everyone couldn't believe that my car had the original paint. With all of this said, it is worth every penny and will last for a very long time if you park your car inside all of the time.
Big decision because this is not cheap. I am just not sure. I plan to do a lot of freeway driving. And right now the paint is perfect and I would like to keep it that way.
A custom body shop a few miles from my house will paint, including prep and buff after, any panel I remove and reinstall for $250. I have a high mile ‘05 Vert and have done the hood, front and rear bumpers or whatever you call them. Shouldn’t be too pricey to repaint when needed if you don’t want a bra.

I was just about to say this. Local shop here in DFW does the same for $300 when you do the R&R. Its hard for me to justify paying 1000+ dollars(2000-3000+ depending on how far you go) to get some pieces of plastic put on, when for that same price I could get the front of the car sprayed 3 times...
As far as ceramic coating goes, its awesome, but the prep work is where the magic happens. The underlying paint has to be perfect before you ceramic coat. 600 seems to cheap for a full paint correction + ceramic coat. I would expect at least 1000 if not more. Find out what their 600 entails and what product they use. Just the ceramic product is likely 150-200 bucks. To do ceramic right is a 2 day job usually. Degrease wash, iron remover, clay bar, wash again, polish(1-3 steps), wash again, then use an alcohol based prep product to remove anything left on the paint, then finally ceramic coat, then let cure for 24 hours.

I paid $2500 for mine but the paint was horrible. So was the glass and wheels.
My car is garaged all of the time when not in use. 2.5 years ago I had paint correction and a full body detail to get rid of the swirls. Professionally detailed by Mike phillips detailing buddy . It took 2.5 days and all I can say is wow. They told me I didnt
have to wax it like I used to. I just use blackfire waterless wash and autogeeks chinchilla microfiber cloth. It takes me 20 minutes and still looks fantastic. I spray some on my cloth and then some on the car. I wipe it mostly horizontal on the side panels and vertical on the hood. I also have a spray sealer that’s not necessary but I use that every 4 months and that takes 20 minutes. Very easy to apply. Ceramic coating for me was not necessary after the job they did and it’s not a daily driver.
