Also, short of having lo jack installed yourself, would day to guess that a less than reputable finance company had it installed so if payments on the car are not made or late, then can find it to repossess the car on the easy side as well.
Simply, if you are the one that had Lo jack installed your car since it not a OEM feature, call them up and they will tell you where they installed it, and even will uninstall if you don't want the service anymore.

I have it installed in my car, and watched him install it, so I know the locations, exact locations. I also installed the APP on my phone, so I know were I parked the car, and if someone stole it I can track it.
I will say some times it's a pain, when has I driving the car I get phone call to check on my car, there is movement. When the fob is near my phone, I get calls.
