After putting up with the dust on my 07' coupe with the Z51 option, I put GM ceramic pads on and never looked back.
Yes, there still is dusting, but, it is so slight and hardly noticeable. I'm very happy with them. However, I don't race or track my car.

At 10k they should be fine I would clean them up with 60 grit sand paper and some brake clean before putting the new pads on.

Thanks, Adam. I'm going to give you a call tomorrow to discuss pad options.

I have them on mine. Great pads. At about $110-$115 all around, they're a really good choice.

90% of the Corvette owners don't track their vehicles. For the 10% that do, use a semi metallic pad of your choice. Regarding the comment that you lose some stopping power using a ceramic pad is so off base. The 2012-2013 base C6 used a ceramic pad as their OE pad. It is made by Akebono. Apparently GM thought enough of the stopping ability to use it. If you want to stop the dust go to a ceramic pad. 80% of every new vehicle made today is using a ceramic pad. Even the European's are moving to the ceramic pad.
You have so many choices for the ceramic pad. Why are you basing your choice on price? You can save some money and purchase a private label pad made in China or somewhere else off shore. How good is it really? What if a higher priced quality pad made your pad and rotor last 4 years or longer. How much did that brake job cost in the long run? Example, that story that you hear about a GM truck pad lasting over 100,000 miles, that is a ceramic pad made by Akebono. I guess GM thinks a ceramic pad is good on their trucks as well since they have been using ceramics from 2000.
