MPG Check-In
What kind of MPG are you getting?
Considering factors (please state them!):
Based on what kind of driving (city, highway, combined, easy, spirited, etc.)?
Octane of gasoline used?
Significant mods that affect MPG?
Let's hear it!!

15.2 (indicated by car, not calculator)
Premium gas, octane 93
60/40 highway/city
A bit heavy on the throttle, as I just got the car
No MPG-effecting mods

14 MPG on a good day. I didn't buy my Vette to worry about gas mileage.

25-26 highway. Think my average is like 12. I take it on sporty back road cruises pretty 70% of the time.
As the dude above said...I didn't buy for its mpgs

2007 3LT LS2 A6 21,000 Miles on odometer. Mostly highway use getting 27.5 sustained highway indicated by DIC running Chevron Canada 94 Octane. Last summer I made this run for fun a couple of times taking friends and a family member for a fun ride of 380 miles over mountain passes all types of terrain and elevations. Using the old fashioned fuel consumed and distance covered calculation I was getting 24 MPG on those runs.

2012 GS, M6, no mods, 93 octane from Costco. I use Fuelly.com to keep track both of my cars.
I am averaging 18.3 mpg over 6 fill-ups. Best MPG for a tank is 22.8, which was on the trip back from San Antonio to Frisco. Would have been much higher but I tried to set a world land speed record on SH130 on the way around Austin.
That's the only road trip so far. All the rest has been city traffic.

My Vette gets 22-23mpgs CAI, Borla ATAK, -A&A supercharger will be the next mod so mpg will be out the window.
My Jeep JKUR gets 12-15mpg heavily modified
My Camaro get 28mpg (have gotten close to 40mpg though) all stock
needless to say my Camaro is my DD.

In my 30 mile commute to the big city (25 miles on the freeway) I can get 30 mpg if I use my right foot gently.
A6 trans with a 2.56 rear end, premium gas and light traffic. Only mods to my base-model convertible are VaraRam intake and Corsa exhaust, wide-body and large wheels/tires/brakes.
I certainly didn't purchase the car because of its' gas mileage, but it's nice to know I can get decent mpg if I have to.

13 427. Typical tank I get 19.0-21.0 average (reported by DIC but it's really close to reality). My drive to work is 5-1/2 minutes, so that hurts the fuel economy. It gets about 29 highway if I'm just cruising. Worst tank I've seen was 17.5.

combined is around 14-15mpg, on the fwy with cruise depending on the mph, can get 30-34mpg.
6k mile road trip last may averaged 29.2 mpg ( 75 - 80 mph ).
running 91 octane ( thanks California! ).

If I just let it cruise at 80-85 mph, I get around 23 mpg. Doesn't matter if the highway is flat or over a pass as you must go down also. In the mountains it all depends on traffic and patrol sightings. I usually don't have people catching up. Always 91 Chevron, Phillips or Exxon here. No mods.
Even when I ran with Ferraris and other exotics it didn't matter how much I pushed it, they would run out of gas first. My friends new Shelby GT350 drinks gas like crazy, lucky to get 200 miles per tank if pushed.
