Default Ebony vs Cashmere Interior

I was just wondering the thoughts of those who have these color options. Which is easier to take care of and which shows less issues with use? I like the cashmere because it makes the red exterior pop but my kids say that color is for an old man...I told them I was old LOL.

Tell your kids that ebony is an old man's color because you don't have enough energy, anymore, to upkeep a cashmere interior.

I think the required minimum age to own cashmere is 60 -- although this is not widely known. But if you get caught you'll be sorry.

Lighter interiors requires more
cleaning unless it’s not a DD. It’s what you like as it’s your car. I have had many cars years ago with white tops and black convertible tops, white interior which I loved but tough to clean and black interior and tops was easy to care for. Good luck!

I really like how the dye of bluejeans or just about any other dark color pant transfers to the light color leather. But since that isn't for everyone, a towel on the seat will do and not cost and arm or a leg.

I don't have that problem, although I don't wear cheap Mexican jeans.

I have never had that happen. Probably because the leather in automobiles is plastic-coated.

When I was looking, it appeared that most red Corvettes were built with cashmere interiors. I really wanted red with ebony and it took me a long time to find what I wanted. If my unscientific results are true, you should have a nice selection to choose from. I get pleasing the kids but I think you would be happier if you buy the car set up the way you want it. Go cashmere !!!

I vote black/titanium or black with alcantara inserts. IMO cashmere looks best with a "classy" color like CRM or NRB. I would stick to blacks/grays for red exterior, JMO.

I don't associate colors with age unless it's a big white old folks land yacht. Black won't look as dirty if you're going to use your Vette as a daily driver or kid hauler. I've had black interiors in the past but I'm just over them now which is why I looked for and got cashmere, yeah the seat gets a little blue pants stain once in a while but so what, you take two seconds to clean it and you're on your way.

I have cashmere. Black in my other car. Black is nice and easy to take care of and look good, but I like the cashmere better overall. Looks good and is nice to have something different.

I have black in my GS, and cashmere in my Denali, it's true about the dye transfer, and its infuriating. I really like the color though and it would look great in a CRM car (the GS)
