Batter question

Hi guys. Had a plan to go to the beach today...went to start the car and nothing. Accessories came on. When the horn honked when I locked the doors it was barely audible.

Question - what batteries do you guys use/recommend? (I'm in Southern California) Also, any install tip/tricks I need to know? I'm new to the corvette world.

Go to Autozone and they will install one free (After You Pay For It).

Get an AGM battery. Keep it on a battery tender when you don't drive for a few days.

And remember that when a battery is uninstalled, then the same one or different one is installed, you will need to reset the window indexing.

With the engine running and the window down, close the car door. Raise the window and hold the up switch an extra 3 seconds. Release. Without lowering the window, hold the up switch again for 3 seconds. Release. Done. Don't forget the other window.

This will need to be done to both windows every time the car battery is disconnected, then reconnected.

New issue - 3/19/19

Went to open the door, no luck. Tried the hatch, no luck...the lights flash when i press lock, unlock or hatch on the fob.

How do i get in the car??

Whatever battery you get, buy one with a handle. That makes it so much easier to install/remove.

Also, the M6 GS has a battery vent on the outboard side. Buy one that has this vent oriented on that side for easy hook-up.
