Default Camaro Hood vent with E-Force

Like the title says, I was wondering if anyone here had tried installing the camaro center hood vent with an E-Force supercharger. I know that the charger is pretty low profile but it does increase height just enough that I am concerned. Don't want to butcher the hood only to find out it wont clear. Thanks

Yes on my 06 Z06. The ZR1 hood has a higher bulge then the regular hood doesn't it? Also I believe the ZR1 insert is slightly different than the GM camaro piece. Thanks for the input

This thread has several pictures of various installations, including a few pictures of underneath, with and without drip trays. You'll probably figure out an answer scrolling through the pages of it.

How far down do the scoops come from the main body of the hood? And could they be trimmed for more clearance? I'm more interested in reducing the buildup of air pressure creating front lift than heat reduction.
Thanks

scoops cant be trimmed because the grill mesh attaches at the lowest point in the scoops. unless you cut out the entire mesh i guess.
id guess scoops hand down 1.5 to 2" from bottom of hood.

i do not run the drip tray. you wouldnt even have a chance with that.

I'd say that the vent is out of the question then. Thanks for the help!

I don't think you'll have room unless you place the vent pretty far forward.

I had to remove my fuel rail covers with the placement of my vent. That eforce is going to sit quite a bit higher than the fuel rail covers do.
