Here's the most important question....what parts have you already ordered for it?

Nothin as of yet. Previous owner installed a mild to wild setup but I dont have the switch so I'm in search of that at the moment.

Well, that's one hell of an entry point.

On the M2W fob, the thing came with 2. I'd dig around in the car, seems unlikely they wouldn't be in there.

I've been meaning to replace mine with an old-school dimmer switch (floor mount type) like they used to have for high/low beams in the old days. Gonna just wire it up manually. Very common mod. Quite cheap, and installs in the dead-pedal. Trick is finding a blade connector fuse extension, I have not found them anywhere yet. Might end up making something in 2 parts. I've found fuses with a pigtail, but if the fuse is in there it defeats the purpose of the wiring extension.

Good luck with it. Yer gonna love the car.

Sounds like you got a great deal! Congratulations!! Bonus that it has a fresh, addressed LS7! I really was leaning that way, but really wanted to take the top off, but if I came across that with the update engine don't think I could have resisted.

Enjoy and welcome!!

For the others talking about the LS7, would even a brand new purchased LS7 be a concern? Surely the head manufacturer would have had that addressed by now, no? Well I guess it depends on when the original owner had the LS7 replaced. Either way, glad the OP has that cleared as well as a sweet ride.

Would a new crate LS7 be a concern now, I would think that head/valve issue would have been resolved by now. I could easily be wrong, but that would seem a bit wonky to still need to be concerned with newly acquired LS7s.

K-Spaz: This is off topic but you mentioned you were looking for a blade connector fuse extension. I used FHM200BP ATO Add-A-Circuit Kit to my dead pedal foot switch:
Amazon Amazon

Since the NPP fuse is live at all times (even with motor off), I made a circuit using the Driver's Side of the heated seat fuse which is live ONLY when the engine is running. (Ignore the Arc Audio Trigger portion.)

Hope this helps.

And back on topic, Slw97 a totally awesome Z06. I can see you smiling from here.

Awesome Mike! Thanks. I searched for pigtail and extension and every word I could come up with for what that would be and I couldn't come up with it.
