These are the ones I just scratch my head on. The price isn't bad, but unfortunately the car is absolutely no different from one with 20,000 miles. The tires are still old and all the regular maintenance still needs done and you're going to be the first person to drive it in six years so be prepared for the inevitable.
There are probably exceptions to this rule of mine, but what the hell is anyone thinking purchasing one of those cars at that price point, then putting three tanks of gas through it in 6 years and losing $25,000. Did it really look that good in the garage? I mean all joking aside, how do you take anyting that person tells you, seriously? While you are obviously dealing with someone who can afford to purchase a new Grand Sport, let's just say they're obviously not the sharpest knife in the drawer.

Hard to believe that someone did not drive that car. I would buy it if you can offer less. It’s hard to find one with that mileage on it. You will probably never see one with those low miles.

if you are on the market to buy a C6 GS go for it you cannot go wrong with one with so little mileage.

If I'm splitting hairs, that MAY be a little high, but if your're in the market for a C6 in general and a Centennial Edition in particular, then I would advise you to try and negotiate a little better price, but not to let that one get away.

If you're looking strictly at the year, then yes, it's a bit high. If you consider you're buying a brand new Corvette for under 40 grand...Centennial edition GS to boot, then I think it's a great deal. The one thing you have to be OK with in the end is the depreciation. If you plan on keeping the car for a long time, then I think the decision is pretty easy.

2011 gs
I bought my 2011 GS 3LT with 10,000 miles a little over a year ago for $34K, so $36K doesn't sound that bad for the car you described. My GS had been in storage for 18 months, it looked great but I wound up doing all the regular maintenance plus had to replace the harmonic balancer and the alternator in the first few weeks. Since then it has been great.

My advise is if you like the car, don't let it get away. Not many come around in brand new condition and with that little amount of miles. You may pay a little more now, but you get what you pay for. You could buy another for a couple grand less, with more miles, a few chips in the paint some, and some more wear and tear to it. If there is a little wiggle room for price, then even better.

I just checked the link, looks like the car is no longer available. Looks like someone has a new toy.

I guess I am glad someone bought it . I was torn between going and looking ,buying or keeping my '99 that I have put a lot of time and effort into making it show car worthy with 45xxx on the clock . That one really caught my eye though !!

When I bought my car last year, the ad said nothing about it being a Centennial. Didn’t mention the clear top either. Needless to say I was stunned when I walked into the dealership and saw it (was on floor inside).

Some poor guy thought he would make money off the car if it sat for a long time, then found out he would have to wait for another 20 years. I don't think a 3LT GS CE will ever be a collectible unless it is around 2042 and it sat in someone's garage forever. A top Z06 or ZR1 CE? Maybe? Regardless, original owner needs to stay away from investments because he basically pissed away $30-40k or so.

A lot of fools out there thinking buying a brand new car, not driving then selling it years later for around 1/2 of what they paid? Nice looking garage ornament. Not only that he didn't even buy the 4LT version.
Price is probably high but if you like it offer a few $k less. The CE may or may not be a collectible someday, probably a Z06 or ZR1 version though. This one may have seen its original value if he kept it for another 20 years.
