According to the improvement list to 2008+ corvettes:

• Improved manual transmission shift effort

is listed. Can anyone comment on the difference between pre- and post-2008 cars in terms of manual shifter feel?

TR6060 trans shifts smoother than the T56 trans once both are warmed up.


As for if an after market short shifter is in play, may have to do the c6 anti venom mod mod of brass washer shimming the detent housing out if you are finding the last of shifter engagement is a touch too notchy for your liking with either trans isntead.
