Want to jack my car up
I want to jack up the rear of my car, one side at at time to paint the wheel hubs black. I got new rear brakes last year at the local goodguys tire center and they are completely surface rusted and look like crap. I have a low profile jack, I have researched the jacking points, it appears best to me to go at it from the back of the car. I have seen on here where people have crushed the lower parts of the body going from the sides. Am I on the right track?

Burning Brakes
If you are doing work on the back two wheels. Just jack it up from the year. There is a location in the middle for jacking the car up. Then put it on stands on the two spots right below the rear of each door. I would recommend getting jack pucks that go into those points.
Make sure you chocks on the front and rear of the front tires.
Good of luck and be safe! I would keep the jack up under the jack point as well as the stands for the work you are doing. Just bring the car slowly down onto the stands and make sure things are lined up and keep the jack up as well.

Is there any pics of the middle rear jacking point?

Jack up car
My C6 and my C5 were so low that to be able to place the hockey pucks in the correct spots on the side frame rails, (with low profile jack) I usually needed to drive the tires up on 2x6 boards.

Get you some hockey puck and screw eyelets, screw them into the hockey pucks and bam cheap jacking pucks that work. Then just jack it up from the sides until both from and rear tire are off the ground, then place jackstands.
