Well, I did something stupid today while working on my Corvette. I was changing out the factory bulbs to LED'S on my 2013 & broke one of the bulbs on the rear view mirror on the passenger side trying to get the factory bulb out. It is broke off flush with the bulb socket & there is no way that I can think off to clean the remainder of the broken bulb out due to lack of room.....any ideas? Can the mirror be taken off of the windshield? thanks

I have no mental image of what you are looking at, so not sure this will help, but can you jam a blob of clay into it and unscrew?
Pull the fuse to the mirror or disconnect battery. Then use small jeweler's needle nose or tweezers to remove; could also try small eyeglass or jeweler's flat head to pry/pop the remainder out. Good luck.
Those are tough to get at and tough to work on. I used a tye-wrap to remove mine, but that doesn't help at this point. you could try using a dental instrument to clean the remaining pieces out of the socket, just remove power first was mentioned earlier. They make plastic dental instruments too, you'll find them at your local gun store.
