Default Best Jack Pucks

I would like to do some under the car maintenance. Which means I must purchase some Jack Pucks, to lift the car without damaging the vehicle. Went to Ebay and Amazon and there are so many choices. I have a low profile floor jack with a 3.5 inch bumper pad. Would like to hear what works for y'all. to include size of the diameter, height and permanent or removable. thanks

My son plays hockey, so I just "borrowed" 4 of his well used pucks that he practices with. He has a Homer bucket full of them so he won't miss 4.

Just drill out a 1/4" hole, then screw in a 1/4 x 1" eye bolt directly into the rubber. They fit perfectly and cost less than $5. Don't leave them in though.

Agree. Got 4 of them from a used sporting goods store for $6. They work fine.

Cheap, easy to make and they work perfectly...

I used these permanent ones from Amazon $26. Work great and lower profile than the hockey pucks I used to use.

I've had the permanent ones installed for several years now, they work well and I don't have to be concerned when I take it someplace to have it worked on.

I don't know if there is a "best", that's pretty subjective, but I bought a set 4 for my C6 from a vendor on line for about $27. They came in a nice reusable cardboard box. I keep them in the trunk. They're basically a urethane puck with an eye screwed into them. As you'll see from the responses, people use anything from old hockey pucks, to $60 machined aluminum pieces that look too nice to use, to fancy permanently attached ones.
Personally I'm not a fan of the low profile ones. I want to see where they are and know that I'm on it when I'm jacking my car.
So, get something you're comfortable with and use them to save your rocker panels.

Good Luck.

Elite Engineering frame rails. They provide permanent jack points and protect the rocker panels from scraping on low curbs, speed bumps, etc. And you won't ever lose or misplace them like will probably happen with the jacking pucks.

Below is a picture of right after I installed the aluminum version on the drivers side. They install with 4 stainless, self-tapping screws.

I keep a set of hockey pucks in the car. They are the ones that I purchased for my C5 in 2003. They work fine on the C6 too.

I bought the URO jack pads from Amazon. They install easily and are left in place. Tim

Did the hockey pucks. They usually fall out before I get the jack in place!

I like the stainless set I got. Very high quality. You can get them in Black Silver or Red.

Just got red ones from ZL1 add-ons they are very nice and great quality $69 on Amazon, I was unaware of the $30/$40 version available also on amazon there’s a thread in the ZR1/ZO6 section and some guys did a good review of the cheaper version and they look to be almost identical to the ones I have....had I known I probably would have went that route honestly either way $30-$70 for a permanent solution is fine by me.
