Who runs with DRL's?
I like keeping the lights switched to auto. However, if it's a bright sunny day (and it usually is here for the most part), I usually click off the DRL's when I start it up. Is there a way to not have them automatically come on while keeping the lights in Auto mode? When I see other vettes running around here, most of them are not running DRL's unless it's a newer model with the LED insert.

Here in Canada, it is against the law to run without DRL's for safety purposes. It is much easier to see a car with DRL's than without, even in the sunshine.
When I imported the C6 from the US, that is one of the checks that is done to assure the DRL's come on when starting the car. If they don't, they must be wired to do it, or no registration will be issued.
I actually don't have an issue with running DRL's. I think it is easier to see oncoming vehicles, and I've yet to change a DRL bulb with 10 years of running and 100K miles on the car.

I leave the DRL's on all the time, but I exchanged the ugly yellow bulb with a white LED bulb(and a load resistor) in each headlamp.

I've always left mine on. More visibility that I'm on the road to other drivers makes me and them safer than without. I have enough trouble with people being able to see me since my car sits so low. I'll do whatever I have to so they can see me clearly. It's even more obvious now that I've switched to the C7 style headlights.

Also run with fog lights on.
I want other people to see me so I run with fog lights on which means my tail lights are also on plus side markers. Too many people switch lanes with out looking or come on the road from a driveway and don't bother to look. Not

I like them on. Makes it real easy to see another Corvette coming towards me if they have theirs on too. Never saw one without them on now that I think of it

I turn mine off when I can remember the orange bulbs get complaints from the sun down here in Florida.....doesn't like the competition. I do like the white led listed above might have to look into that

I just leave the switchbacks on all day. I'm thinking about dping the moritomo headlights but I'm on the fence. I'm not trying to make.my C6 look like a C7 but do like those headlights.
