Default 60th anniversary C6 steering wheel - suede part #

I'm trying to find out the part # for a 60th anniversary suede wrapped steering wheel, I believe they're available in blue or red stitching. Spoke to the guy GMpartswarehouse.com and he couldn't find it. If you happen to have this, I need the part # for the clock spring too.

I'm wanting to change out my 2005 Michelin man steering wheel to this wheel if possible.

Thanks

This idea may help - I've done it before. Find an online sale listing for a used anniversary edition. Note the VIN. Go to a GM parts website and input that VIN. Then search for parts. It may show the steering wheel for that model. Good luck.

Contact Gene with Cultragperformanceparts.com, he's a CF vendor and sells them. He has the suede listed on E Bay, type in C6 steering wheel with red stitching and you will see the auction. I just bought standard leather with red stitching for M6.

If you are interested I am thinking about removing my anniversary steering wheel and going back to stock. Its in nice condition but I think I prefer the regular leather. I also have a matching steering boot that is new in box.

These are the ones with red stitching. Not sure the color you are looking for.

The numbers I posted are for a M6 with voice controls.

Bstock,

I'm looking for the M6 with out the voice controls. I looked up the 2013 427 on gmpartswarehouse.com and found the wheels, well at least I think so.

Wheel with red stitching - 22805650 / $202.00. Doesn't state whether it's leather or suede though.

Bstock, what exactly is the "boot" & "****"?

The airbag will be the big expense.

Thanks!

I also purchased the shifter **** and shifter boot. You shouldn't have to replace the airbag unless they where different on the earlier years. Mine swapped right over. What I did was looked on CarGurus and the sales section on the forum for a centennial version with the suede wheel I was looking for then used that Vin on gmpartsdirect.

My car is a 2005, it has the “Michelin man” style steering wheel, I’m not a fan. For the ‘05 to newer conversion you have to change the clock spring & airbag.

Can you tell tell me the diameter of your steering wheel? Mine is 15” diameter, I was hoping the newer steering wheels are smaller.

Thanks again.

I went to GMpartswarehouse.com and put in the VIN for my '13 GS with the 60th Anniversary package, it has the suede wheel, couldn't tell you what color the stitching is.

Clicking on the first selection gives this additional info:
  • Description:Corvette. Manual trans. Without voice control. Without paddle shifter, without voice recognitin, black stitching.
  • Notes: Order By Color.

wanting to do the same for my 05. Wheel for manual w/o controls. Does the factory wheel come with the silver/gray trim pieces on the spokes?
