For the life of me I cannot find the thread on here that was a step by step DIY to install 2 switches using the remote to turn off and on mild to wild. The thread showed electrical diagram and everything that had the remote/switches where the oval shaped piece is by the traction button. I’ve been searching for hours and cannot find that thread. Could someone help me out? It was a very nice write up the guy did.
I have installed everything, just would like to replace the key fab with switches for on and off and there is a certain thread in which I like the way the guy setup his buttons. Thank you though.
Never knew why anybody would use a fob to open and close your exhaust. Driving along now you have to tie up one hand to get the fob and then push a button. I love it in my dead pedal, never inconvenienced of having to do anything but move your foot 6 inches.
I have a thread over in C6 for sale section with a new mild2wild switch setup. I had the dead pedal setup but love this option wayyyyyy more (actually selling my dead pedal switch that is 2 months old due to new switch). Saw it at a car show and picked up a few extra for fellow corvette forum peeps that I thought would be interested.
Here is a picture of it and comes with approximately 10feet of cable so you can mount switch virtually anywhere in cabin of car and comes with instructions with color pictures for easy install!
I took the key FOB and Command Strip'd it to the backside of the steering wheel for now. My C6 came with the Mild to Wild already installed. I like the switch idea. Where are you guys installing (mounting) this switch?

I used double sided tape and mounted my fob to the top of my drivers side sunvisor. Easy to access and out of sight. I don't even need to flip the visor down to access, just reach on top and push the button.
I went with the wireless fob over a hard wired switch because I figured I could mount the fob just about anywhere I wanted.
Originally I was going to go with the dead pedal switch but I always use the dead pedal when driving and didn't want the switch in the way.
Without doubt the wireless fob is the most versital when it comes to mounting. I personally run my exhaust open 99% of the time. I built my own switch, a M2W clone, for $20 after watching a YouTube video.
I feel sorry for some of you guys, if my hot young stripper wife gets in the car and the exhaust is quite she tells me to "make it loud".
Here is the video if you want to build your own M2W.

As far as putting it in the cigarette lighter, to each his own. But to me that makes no sense. You have one hand on the wheel the other on the shifter. Now you have to take your right hand off the shifter, open the ash tray door and then hit the button to open or close the exhaust. With the foot pedal I already could have opened or closed the exhaust 10 times already by the time your reaching to even open the ash tray door, and all the time NEVER moving my hands or taking my eyes off the road to fiddle with some switch or fob.
