Heres the one I'm buying for my 5.3
https://www.ebay.com/itm/Elgin-Engin...frcectupt=true

stage "1.5" its got a bit less duration and lift $242 shipped and not chinese

highly recommended apparently

I recently installed the E1839P cam into my LQ9. The operating range is definitely a misprint. That cam pulls right off idle, all the way through 6K easily.

This cam has a great rumble at idle. It is making MORE power-EVERYWHERE-over the LS9 cam (on a 115.5 LSA) that I pulled out.

I debated on going with the E1840P but was dissuaded from doing so by wise people on this forum. I'm glad I followed that good advise. The -39 cam sounds and runs great.

If JEGS and Summit are OK with putting their brands on them, then they are fine.

The Lobes on the 228/230 cam are similar to the BTR Stage 2 Truck cam in aggressiveness (the truck cams have the mildest lobes of the BTR cams).

The valve timing events are a bit more dedicated for boost. Lobe designs are very nice and we gave it a touch more lift to match up with the .600 spring packs out there-so it will run better N/A as well.

We also produce in large quantities, so the Pro LS cams are competitive on price. We step things up in several other ways because of this. They're milled to near net before heat treat and finish ground on a Landis 3LB with a CBN (diamond) grinding wheel. This means you don't get soft spots that flake over time as a lot of custom cams are prone to do.. It also results in a better lobe finish than others because little in the actual way of polishing is required.

A cammed LS is a beast. A blown and cammed LS is a wicked beast. Had/have both. Don’t hesitate to cam it. For resale, who gives a ****. It’s a Vette. It will sell. EVERY Vette I have purchased was modified. And, not just cosmetic bullshit.

Listen To Turbo6TA regarding lift. It’s a PITA to change springs every 25K miles. If you procrastinate, boom. Ask me how I know.

Enjoy bro.
